Keeping Children Safe is now operating from its base in Inverness. Covering all of the Highland area, the aim of Keeping Children Safe (formally known as Highland Child Protection Voluntary Sector Forum) is to build on the past good practice and trust that has developed within agencies working in partnership in relation to child protection needs.

We aim to develop a comprehensive and tailored programme that can be delivered to all providers with a responsibility for children's safety. We will provide training that is valid and accessible and deliver it through a range of methods, including directly to larger voluntary agencies and, through local community network, to smaller voluntary sector such child care and family support providers, sports groups, youth clubs and other organisations who recognise their responsibilty in the area of child protection.
