Training

Training is adapted for different group's needs with the core content based on Local and National Child Protection guidance. We can train up to 30 people per session, which can be arranged at a time to suit the working person or parent. Evenings and Saturdays are quite popular!

An information pack and Certificate will be issued to those attending the training. 

Keeping Children Safe receives funding from Highland Council to deliver sessions in Communities which is FREE of charge to attend.

Alternatively a course can be delivered to your organisation at a small fee, please contact us to discuss any training needs you have. We will adapt the programme to to fit the time suitable for your needs.

Inter-agency courses 

  Once you have completed the introductory course, you can  apply to attend more detailed courses, which are designed for the wider audience from all agencies working with Children and Families. 

This enables staff from Education, Health, Social Work, Police, Housing, Adult Services and Voluntary Sector groups to network and learn together.
